Almost Home was a labor of love. We started with a house over 100 years old, but in need of some TLC. We would have liked to kept the original builders vision with abundant chestnut trim, through out the house. Due to time and cost we chose to update the house to modern standards, while preserving some history by keeping the dining room close to original with its chestnut trim and a built-in chestnut pass-thru pantry.

When we were finished we were pleased with the outcome. The country theme throughout with a variety of paper and paint give a relaxing atmosphere. Time spent in this vacation rental is sure to give you a refreshed look on life. Life is good.

A relaxing getaway to the country doesn't have to be spent in a rustic cabin. Country Comfort combines many of the luxuries we have come to expect in our own homes. Spacious living areas, large beds( most with pillow top mattresses), large plasma tv, and air conditioning. 

A rainy vacation day is no longer to be dreaded. You can challenge your family to a game of pool in the game room or recline on the oversize sectional with your favorite movie on HBO.  If you like to sleep late; the master bedroom boasts a beautiful cherry king bed with pillow top mattress, private 1/2 bath, and tv.  This 4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath, 14 person capacity home is the perfect vacation choice.
